In addition to their range of standard key cabinets Omega also manufacture a number of other key storage solutions. These offer alternative solutions to the standard range of cabinets and allow us to ensure our customers meet their security requirements.
Examples of some of these alternative solutions are detailed below:
Emergency Key Boxes: The Emergency Key Box from Omega comes in two different models. Model KS1 comes with a glass front and model KS2 comes with a solid front. Emergency key boxes are designed to house a restricted key at a locked door only to be used in case of emergency. The dimensions of both these models are 150mm by 125 mm by 30mm
Glass Fronted Cabinets: Glass fronted cabinets, as the name suggests, allow an easy visual check of the whereabouts of all keys in the cabinet. This means each cabinet does not have to be opened to see which keys are stored and which are being used. Omega's range of glass fronted cabinets come in three models (specifications listed below).
Mobile Cabinets: Mobile Key Cabinets are manufactured by Omega in three different sizes. Specification for each of the three models are listed below. These are a range of portable key cabinets with carrying handles - ideal for guarding companies or the motor trade.
Special Security Cabinets: This range of cabinets is designed to meet the highest level of key security. These high security key cabinets are constructed of 3mm steel plate with 6mm steel doors. Internal specification is standard as found in the rest of the KeySecure range except the locking which is by means of a eight lever double bitted key lock. There is an alternative locking mechanism - a keyless combination lock with upto 1 million different combination codes. This model comes in four standard sizes (detailed below). We recommend that this unit is recessed into the wall to ensure maximum security.
